01Who we are

insta.report is operated by Antcep Concepts LLP (“we”, “us”). We decide how your information is used and are responsible for protecting it. You can reach us at instareport.antcep@gmail.com.

02What we collect

Information you give us:

• Account details: your email address, your name, an optional profile photo, and a password if you sign up with email. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• The Instagram usernames you ask us to analyse, and the period you choose.
• Payment details are entered with our payment provider, Paddle. We never see or store your card number. We receive the purchase, amount and a transaction reference.

03Instagram data we analyse

When you analyse an account, we collect that account’s publicly visible profile and post information (such as captions, dates, hashtags, like and comment counts and a reduced-size picture of each post) without logging in to Instagram. Private accounts are refused.

We discard other people’s data that is not needed: commenters’ names and comment text are not kept, post images are shrunk in memory for analysis and then thrown away, and the raw collected data is deleted from our collection provider straight after collection. What we keep is the analysis for your report, the post figures it was built from, and links back to the posts.

04How we use information

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.

• to run the service: collect posts, build your report, keep it in your list and let you download or share it;
• to take payments, add credits and prevent fraud or abuse;
• to email you about your account, receipts, and, only if you ask for it, when a report is ready or a PDF is shared;
• to keep the service secure, fix problems and understand which parts cost what to run.

05Who helps us process it

We use trusted providers who process information only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase: sign-in and our database.
• Vercel: hosting.
• Apify: collecting public Instagram posts.
• Anthropic: AI analysis of the collected posts (post text, figures and reduced images are sent to it).
• Paddle: payments, tax and receipts, as the seller of record.
• Resend: sending email.
• Google: if you choose to sign in with Google.

06Sharing your reports

A report is private to your account. A public link works only while you switch it on, and anyone with that link can read the report. If you email a report, the recipient receives the PDF. You control both and can turn the public link off at any time.

07Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage:

• sign-in session cookies, needed to keep you signed in;
• a preference for light or dark theme, and for dollars or rupees;
• a record of your cookie choice, kept for one year.

08How long we keep information

• Account details and reports: until you delete a report or ask us to delete your account.
• Collected post data used to preview periods: about 24 hours, then removed.
• Payment and credit records: for as long as the law requires us to keep financial records.

09Your choices and rights

You can see and change your name and photo in Settings, delete any of your reports, and switch off sharing at any time. You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by writing to instareport.antcep@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU, UK or India, you may also complain to your data protection authority.

10Security

Your data is stored with strong access controls: our database is not reachable from the browser, connections are encrypted, service keys stay on our servers, and report files are stored privately and downloaded through short-lived links. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a problem affects you.

11Children

The service is not for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When a change matters, we will tell you by email or on the site before it applies. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
